Dr. Aneeta Talwar has completed her MBBS and MD in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the prestigious AIIMS, New Delhi. She worked as a Senior Resident in AIIMS after her post-graduation. She joined Manipal Hospital Whitefield at its inception in 2016 as a consultant OBGYN and has been instrumental in shaping the department of OBGYN in the hospital. She has an experience of more than 25 years in her field.
Her expertise is in Laparoscopic Gynae surgeries like Hysterectomy, Myomectomy (Removal of fibroids of the uterus), Laparoscopic surgery for endometriosis, complicated and re-operative gynae surgeries. She is also a pioneer in Hysteroscopy (diagnostic evaluation of the uterus) and various hysteroscopic operations like myomectomy, polypectomy, adhesiolysis etc.
She also performs various vaginal surgeries like vaginal hysterectomy for prolapse, non-descent vaginal hysterectomy, VVF (vesico-vaginal fistula)
She also performs operations for ovarian tumours, both benign and cancerous, for endometrial and cervical cancers.
She is a life member of FOGSI and IMA. She is also an active member of the Bangalore OBG Society (BOGS). She has organised, participated and presented papers in numerous national and international conferences.
